During my time at mLevel, my focus was on conducting interviews with mLevel customers and users to gain insight into their needs and challenges, and compile the information gathered into personas that the whole team could use.
Emily and I initiated the creation and usage of user personas at mLevel, with a goal of ingraining user empathy across every stage of our product development lifecycle. To ensure these personas utilized a balance of both qualitative and quantitative data, Emily conducted extensive user interviews, analyzed behavioral UI metrics, and synthesized all of this data into an easily digestible format. These personas successfully changed the way our development teams discussed and approached building technical solutions, and became an important lens for making decisions based on our users’ needs, goals and behaviors.
